Position Summary Position Summary As an front end Architect or Staff Engineer for Walmart Global eCommerce, you'll be responsible for large-scale, e-commerce Web applications development, tools development and maintenance. You'll interact with the business to provide robust technical solutions to business problems. This position will build rich Internet Applications using Java,advanced JavaScript, the latest CSS techniques and HTML. Position Description Performs product design tasks of high complexity which may require research and analysis and in-depth front-end programming knowledge. Performs system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation, although specific skill requirements could vary based on the type of development being performed. Works independently and with supervisory review on moderate to highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions. Prepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts. Leads and mentors junior team members and effectively delivers projects. Able to understand and use latest web technologies Creative and forward thinker Participates in client interactions, possibly with more senior team members, to develop system solutions to business problems. Works within established procedures to develop, test, implement, and maintain application software. Architects framework level code for multi-site reuse and abstraction. Performs code-reviews and suggest best practices for automating code maintenance tasks.
