Staff/Sr Staff SQA Engineer Job in Santa Clara 95062, California Us
We are looking for a strong technical lead to help with our full product validation. This will include all aspects of designs targeting hardware including: software usage, test plan creation, test case and test bench development and debug, test automation, test analysis and results reporting, and hardware test.
This is a terrific opportunity to participate with a small group of people dedicated to creating next generation IC hardware and the associated software toolset.
The successful canddate will:
- • Implement scripts and programs to exercise applications and automate testing flows
- • Create test plans, test designs to exercise all phases of the tool flow (RTL through bits in the part)
- • Use Tabula Stylus and various 3rd party industry standard tools to create and debug designs
- • Work closely with Software, Apps, Architecture and Hardware to ensure we provide our customers with superior solutions
Requirements:
- • Be creative and proactive with proven problem solving skills
- • Must have previous experience in testing FPGA design tools
- • Must be able to read and understand detailed technical product requirements and specifications
- • Demonstrated excellence with test plan/test bench creation, review, and implementation
- • Be familiar with standard FPGA design flows including detailed knowledge of design entry, synthesis, simulation, technology specific tools (SPR), design debug and timing closure
- • Experience (and current) with Verilog/VHDL languages and constructs and HDL design methodologies
- • Well versed in current industry standard EDA and FPGA design/debug tools
- • Proficient with Perl, TCL and scripting languages
