Standards engineer Job in Berlin 06037, Connecticut US

Looking for a Standards Engineer to work with Engineering Designers and Drafters as necessary to create template drawings for "Draft 0" reviews (Draft 0 reviews means that this person will be creating NU written and drawn standards from scratch. Draft 0 simply means that no one has reviewed the draft, it is in its initial stage of creation). Routinely meeting with members of the Protection Controls Engineering Discipline and Transmission Automation to develop the standards from Draft 0 to final approval. Strong knowledge of substation protection and controls. Working knowledge (preferably with practical experience) of IEC 61850 applications (IEC 61850 is an international standard for the design of electrical substation automation and communications which significantly reduces response times, control house size requirements and cost). Good organization and communication skills. Degree: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years experience. At least 2 years experience with IEC 61850 Applications
