Statistical Analyst - Contract
A leading Financial Institution based in Dublin City Centre is looking to recruit a Statistical Analyst to join their team for a 6 Month Contract.
The Role:
- Use of SAS to develop and build a variety of quality reports, pulling and integrating data from a variety of complex data sources.
- Develop user friendly SAS code (e.g. macro) with supporting documentation.
- Liaise with colleagues on dataset specification, data quality and data checks.
- Creating database queries to support the Product Managers in Sales Marketing.
- Evaluation of existing algorithms and developing processes to ensure improvements in ongoing query requirements, identify opportunities for repeat scripting etc.
- Carrying out data management activities in support of business needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Min of 2 years SAS Base Programming and Reporting Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, strong attention to detail and can prioritize work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to report results in a non-technical manner to Marketing Contacts
- Effective management of schedules
- Ability to produce accurate quality information within agreed timeframes.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Knowledge SAS MACRO. STAT GRAPH.
- Knowledge of statistics for Marketing
- Strong Data Mining capability
- Knowledge of other statistical software/platforms. E.g. SPSS
