The Employee of Future Agent"Competencies and Skills In additional to the general responsibilities listed below, each request to fill an EFA position will include a detailed list of desired competencies and skills (determined by the State Farm Intern). In general, the role requires a dedicated professional, but the desired competencies and skills may vary depending on the specific needs of each State Farm intern agent. General Responsibilities •Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; •Possesses strong organizational skills;•Can organize and prioritize multiple work assignments; •Uses and/or develops applicable computer skills and operates a variety of Microsoft Office software and office equipment such as computers, printers, facsimile, etc;•Learns and applies State Farm's customer service philosophy; •Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs market appropriate products and services;•Establish client relationships and follow-up up with customers, as needed;•Provide prompt, accurate friendly customer service. Service will include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage's, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification;•Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals;•Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.Licensing and Training•Each EFA must complete the appropriate insurance licensing and training.Term Employment Agreement •As condition of employment, each EFA will be required to read, agree to, and sign State Farm's Term Employment Agreement (TEA).Plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for employer or client; or if engaged in fundraising, plan and direct activities to solicit and maintain funds for special projects and nonprofit organizations.
