Your department and challenge

ING IM is one of the world’s largest asset managers with over € 360 billion of assets under management in 33 countries around the world. ING IM has the ambition to become a top tier asset manager. To reach that objective an extensive change program needs to be delivered, on top of other projects driven by regulatory requirements and disentanglement from the bank.

The Static Data department is responsible for the setup, validation and distribution of high quality static data to all users. Static Data acts as a liaison point between the Front-Office and the Back-Office in order to streamline data flow and avoid any disruption to the investment value chain. The Static Data Department provides consistent (timely, correct, complete and accessible) static data across INGIM.

Your main responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, update existing data and set-up new data in a timely manner

• Manage the different data systems and data flows

• Controlling and safeguarding of data quality; enrich (complete) the data coming from third party systems (Bloomberg, Barclays, etc.)

• Identify shortfalls in data quality against business rules and propose improvements

• First point of contact to internal clients and liaise with other INGIM departments to continuously discuss and improve data quality and data processes.

• Perform root-cause analysis on incidents, develop solutions and controls, monitoring progress

Your experience and skills

The successful candidate is a genuine team player with previous static data experience at an Investment Management company. You have at least two years of relevant experience in a data management environment. You have a higher educational level, preferably finance and/or investments related. Knowledge of and experience with EDM tools (preferably Cadis) is a pre.
