Statutory Accountant,Contract , 45-50k recruitment
Our client is a leading global software and technology company based inDublin, with global international head quarters.
They are currently seeking a talented and qualified accountant for their expanding finance team, in the capacity of statutory accountant.
This is an exciting role, where the candidate will have responsibility for the preparing the local statutory filings for all their international subsidiaries.

Remit of the role:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly subsidiary accounts in compliance and accordance with local GAAP , for each various entity
- Liaising with external auditors and being their main point of contact and dealing with all their queries.
- Preparing month end management pack information, with commentary and analysis on all statutory reporting.
- Ensuring all tax and VAT compliance for the entities in your remit
- Ensuring all accounts and statutory reporting is SOX compliant as well as complaint with all management controls
- Other ad hoc project work as required.
Experience and skills required:
- Educated to a university level, with a strong academic background
- ACA/ ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant
- 1-3 years PQE
- Knowledge of US GAAP UK GAAP and IFRS reporting is essential.
- Experience of working in a multinational or large blue chip organisation.
- Audit background is highly desirable
- Knowledge of sun systems.
- High level of attention to detail , with an ability to communicate well with colleagues
- Deadline driven individual with an ability to work within strict parameters
This is a contract role, but comes with a strong remuneration package.
