A leading financial services organisation are looking to appoint a technically astute, CPA/ CA qualified Financial Accountant with strong exposure to statutory reporting within a leading financial services institution to support their year-end function. This is an interim role to start at short notice and requires a candidate who can hit the ground running in a high performing environment.
Prerequisites
• CPA/ CA qualification.
• Big Four Trained
• Previous experience or exposure to a large financial institution.
This role will be for an initial three months with the view of extending the contract depending on requirements and performance.
You will assist in the
• Review and Preparation of the year-end statutory accounts whilst preparing balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger and prepare the month performance reports.
• Prepare all statutory reporting schedules
• Prepare and review key year end provisions in line with international financial reporting standards.
• Support any process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure financial compliance across the organisation by providing financial policy and control frameworks including development of accounting policies and procedures.
• Furthermore from a tax compliance perspective preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS returns, annual income tax returns and payroll tax returns.
• You must show strong stakeholder engagement by interacting confidently across a number of business units.
