STERILE PROCESSING TECH Job in Olney, Maryland US
Performs sterile processing functions for the OR and other patient care units following approved infection control, quality assurance and departmental policies. Sterilizes and decontaminates instumentation, tray sets and scope equipment, sorts and process instrumentation, cleans supply carts and operation equipment, etc. Inspects and assembles general OR instrumentation, tray sets and scope equipment using appropriate packaging and wrapping techniques. Prepares and delivers complete case carts, restocks supply carts documents all cleaning activitnes, records and maintains accurate daily records, etc.
Qualifications include HS diploma or equivalent, Certification preferred with a minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience.
