Sterling Investment Grade Corporate Analyst recruitment
FLI is looking to recruit a team of analysts to support the management of the Fixed Interest portfolios. This represents a unique and exciting opportunity to work in a ‘Greenfield’ project where analysts will be encouraged to contribute to the creation of a cohesive fixed interest asset management process.
The initial focus of FLI will be on fixed income assets supporting annuity liabilities and shareholder assets backing other non profit liabilities. Further investment classes will be considered as the business grows.
Role profile:
The team is looking to recruit an experienced investment grade corporate analyst to provide fundamental and relative value credit research. The analyst will have to cover investment grade sterling issuers across multiple sectors, with the exclusion of Financials and ABS issuers. The analyst will be integrated into the portfolio management process proactively engaging with fund managers to optimise credit risk and generating value trades within the portfolios. The analyst will be expected to provide research opining on both the sectors and issuers. The analyst will also be expected to opine on the impact of the economic environment on the multiple sectors they review and provide intrasector value recommendations.
Candidate profile:
In addition to strong analytical skills, any candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to provide clear and concise oral and written communication skills. The candidate will need to have the experience to confidently express relative value and credit risk opinions. Credit analysis experience is a prerequisite for any candidate considering applying for the role.
