JOB SUMMARY: This position provides customer service to the shop parts network and Schneider Emergency Maintenance to make units available to haul freight with supplying parts for units that are broke down. This is a fast paced, multi tasking environment requiring organizational skills and high stress tolerance, in a team setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pulling stock orders for shops, loading and securing in a trailer for shipment.
2. Pulling and packing orders for UPS and LTL freight
3. Enter data to reflect inventory transactions.
4. Answer incoming calls from Company shops, SEM to determine what parts are needed and how to procure them.
5. Use manufactures web site to identify parts for units.
6. Take manufacture part numbers cross reference to a Schneider Master number to find availability for shipment.
7. Issue purchase orders to vendors for shipments.
8. Safely and properly unload incoming shipments from LTL and UPS.
9. Put parts away verifying correct part and quantities.
10. Review parts usage at Schneider facilities for dead stock and overstock parts.
