Stock Controller

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to be based at our Manchester RDC.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support both the local RDC and national procurement strategy. Responsibilities will include:
· Purchasing of standard and non-standard stock items
· Placing and chasing orders with local suppliers
· Liaising with internal departments; including Sales and Distribution
· System maintenance
· Administration activities
· Supporting tenders and product queries
· Identifying potential customers from suppliers
The right candidate will have excellent organisation skills, possessing the ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising workloads effectively. You will be computer literate and competent in Word, Excel and Outlook.
