Stock Control/Supplies Manager – Newcastle Job in Newcastle, Tyne

Situated in an attractive area of Jesmond, The Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital is a thriving, modern facility with 39 beds, three operating theatres, two with laminar flow, and a growing range of clinical services. We are continually developing our services, consolidating our position as a centre of excellence in the North East.

As part of a small team, you’ll control stock flow within the hospital using computerised and manual systems, distributing supplies to each department as needed. 

You will be required to co-ordinate work activities within the supplies department, receive, check, label, store and deliver supplies / products throughout the hospital following the required procedures.  You will control and issue stock using the appropriate systems.

You must have the ability to work under pressure and have experience of working in a busy environment.   IT skills in Microsoft Office, together with excellent communication, organisational skills and previous experience of stock control are essential to this post. Flexibility, along with excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to this post.  Previous experience in a hospital/medical environment is preferred.
