Role: System Management Specialist(Storage)

Location: Remote(Work from home)

Duration : 12 months (subject to change as per client)

 

Required Skills:

Familiarity, Ability with or aptitude to learn to do the following:

SAN skill:

 

Cisco NX-OS 4.1 and above

·         zoning best practices

·         creating of zone from command line or using FM

·         vsan management

Cisco Fabric Manager

·         Ability to identify proper primary switch for a given vsan

Cisco 9513 SAN switch

·         Troubleshoot connectivity issue

·         Familiar with NPIV zoning practices

Brocade DCX or McData i10000

·         Familiar with zoning via CLI or GUI

·         Ability to use EFCM

Ability to determine port allocation and communicate cabling requests to remote hands SVC 5.1 and/or 6.2

·         Provision storage

·         Deallocate storage

·         Determine proper pool usage

·         Setup SSH key for CLI use

·         CLI interface ability

Hitachi USPV Administration

·         Determine free ports

·         Differentiate between external subsystem ports and target ports

·         Pool management

Hitachi Device Manager

·         HDVM 7.1 create, allocate, map, and decomm and otherwise manage, thin provisioned logical devices

UNIX familiarity

·         Ability to write/use simple scripts

·         Maintain SSH keys
