Storage Development Engineer

Qualifications
Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, NFS, CIFS, FC and iSCSI
Broad technical storage knowledge including NAS, SAN, DAS, and their features
Experience working in a development capacity with NAS appliances such as NetApp, EMC, etc.
Strong technical knowledge and experience with NAS file systems such as those used by NetApp, IBRIX, or EMC
Knowledgeable in server, storage, and network architecture
Knowledgeable in High Availability technologies like clustering, virtualization, etc.
Ability to write scripts in a Linux environment for Automated Testing and solution deployment
Understanding and familiarity with Linux drivers and kernel code
Hands-on experience with installation, deployment and configuration of software, x86 servers and storage products
Experience with and knowledge of building up, removing and replacing hardware components within both servers and storage systems
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Virtualization Operating Systems like VMware, MS Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer
Working knowledge of networking infrastructure, RAID, SNMP, and Management GUIs and CLIs
Proven track record of working independently and with a large cross functional team, with excellent verbal and written communication skill
Ability to seamlessly work with global engineering and extended teams
Strong Linux administration expertise
Exposure to collecting and analyzing solution stack performance data
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field. Masters degree desired
Minimum of 8 years experience in storage development, preferably with NAS and SAN products, with strong networking skills and experience
