Storage Engineer, German, English, Financial Sector, Permanent, Zürich recruitment
Your main responsibilities:
-Installation, configuration and operational management of Operating Systems
-Management of unified datacenter technology (Cisco UCS, VMware, NetApp)
-Management of storage related client protocols (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC)
-Basic operating tasks such as monitoring, backup and recovery of above components
In order to be responsible for this role, you will require the following:
-solid understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
-understanding of data storage and networking technologies (SAN, NAS)
-knowledge to run unified datacenter technologies (Cisco UCS, VMware, NetApp)
-basic experience in scripting (Perl, Powershell)
-experience in delivering and operating large IT environments
-strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
