A fantastic opportunity exists for a Midrange Storage Specialist as well as a Tivoli Storage Specialist to join one of the leading Information Technology Service providers in Australia.
As a Storage Specialist you will be required to provide storage management services, supporting Storage products and providing EBR and Veritas product expertise.
Job Description
- Work with management to obtain and sustain SLA and Key KPI levels
- Perform Team Leader specific tasks including being the first point of contact for the Storage Management Service team
- Liaise with various operational/technical/internal/helpdesk/support teams and management
- Oversee correct execution of change management activities
- Lead SME for problematic backup failures
- After hours/on call technical support
To be successful in this role, you will occupy the following skills:
- Previous experience working in Storage Management Services
- Solid knowledge with regards to Unix systems
- 3rd level knowledge of Intel Systems Operation
- Prior experience working within Backup recovery
The Tivoli Storage Specialist in this role will complement the existing client team and perform design, implementation and support activities.
The successful candidate will occupy the following skills:
- Sound Tivoli knowledge and demonstrated experience
- Strong and current TSM and Netbackup experience
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
