Storage Systems Engineer recruitment
Primarily working on EMC and HP Arrays with a Cisco Fabric you will provide a point of contact for London Storage related issues, dealing with installation, configuration and resolution of issues; providing documentation where required. Also providing input into Archtiecture reviews that have a dependency on Storage infrastructure.
Additionally you will work on projects that require the implementation of systems that run on this platform - providing pro-active recommendations on areas for improvement and take ownership of this technology for the EU region.
Essential skills:
- Up to 5 years hand on experience with HP EVA and/or EMC Clariion SAN in a multi-site replicated environment
- Up to 5 years hands on experience with VMWare ESX Server in a multi-site, clustered environment, with a high level of troubleshooting skills; ESX/ESXi 3.5/4.0; VSphere and VCentre 2.5. Very Good knowledge of VCB and SRM. High level of understanding of the relationship between ESX and the backend storage.
- Up to 5 years experience of installing and supporting Windows 2003/2008 in an Enterprise environment
- Up to 5 years experience of installing and supporting Red Hat Linux in an Enterprise environment.
