The Store Design Manager will ensure creative and operational excellence as it relates to new store design initiatives and fixture roll outs for International Franchise stores and Company owned stores.
Essential Tasks
Manage all logistics in support of store design and fixture development. Support Creative with new store design initiatives. Gather information from field and databases while supporting logistical and creative aspects of the project.
Partner with Franchisee to monitor the visible elements of store construction process and ensure deadlines are met.
Publish and maintain a store design manual that encompasses architectural concepts, fixtures plans, etc.
Create and manage a library of plan iterations from initial concepts through to final blueprints, fixture plans, elevations, with final photo album of store.
Partner with Finance to develop, propose, gain approval and execute PAR requests. Manage budget as it relates to any project or initiative. Work with procurement on sourcing various fixture of props.
Provide on-going communications to franchise partners regarding new brand initiatives and ensure brand integrity is maintained.
Other essential tasks as assigned.
Essential Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Required; degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Interior Designer, Store Designer, or Creative Manager within a specialty retail organization, design firm, or fixture vendor
- Working knowledge of retail store construction process or similar experience

- Proven creative and organizational skills
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of management
- Ability to be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and hands on
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational expertise
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Indesign, PhotoShop, and AutoCAD
- High level of interest in both the creative and project management aspects of store design
Travel Requirement:
- Up to six (6) international trips per year; each trip can be 1-2 weeks in duration. (up to 25% travel)
