Summary of Position:

Provide leadership management direction necessary to achieve financial goals and performance objectives.  Achieves these performance measurements and objectives through consistent Team Development, Merchandise Execution, Strong Operational Controls and Exceptional and Consistent Customer Service Standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Sales Expense Management

·         Open availability to Naartjie business needs

·         Manage payroll and drive sales performance to meet Naartjie’s business objectives.

Leadership Team Development

·         Act as a professional representative of Naartjie.

·         Consistently communicate Naartjie core values.

·         Helping Associates understand the company’s overall business strategy.

·         Communicate a vision of where the organization needs to go.

Merchandise Direction

·         Maximize merchandise visual presentation, insuring all sku’s are represented on the selling floor.

·         Must have knowledge of business Best Sellers, Sales Goals and create quantifiable measurements.

·         Execute and maintain visual presentation to Naartjie standards.

·         Inventory management, includes merchandise receipts, check-in and floor set.

·         Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Operations

·         Open Close Store –Nights and Weekends

·         Insure Financial Controls are complete in accordance with Naartjie policy.

·         Insure both the selling floor and stockroom are neat, clean, and organized.

·         Insure backroom/desk organization, wrap station clean and orderly at all times.

·         Insure General Sore cleanliness and upkeep.

·         Insure timely follow-up on all paperwork.

·         Asset Protection-secure Company financial and Human Resource Assets.

·         Effective communication with customers through phone, internet, and email.

·         Manage the performance of the Team Members in a consistent, fair, and effective manner.

·         Demonstrate commitment to ownership and teamwork with all Team Members.

·         Lead with an inspired and shared vision for success-TEAM Oriented.

·         Strong Recruiting Skills and abilities.

Customer Service

·         Greet customers immediately with eye contact, smile, and welcome.

·         Create Wardrobe options with all customers.

·         Develop repeat Customers and encourage Customer feedback.

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

·         2+ year’s progressive retail management experience, at least 1 year of which should be in a soft-lines retail environment with one year of specialty retail experience preferred.

·         Strong interpersonal skills to aid with handling associate and customer issues as well as strong recruiting skills and abilities.

·         Strong merchandising skills a must.

·         Ability to follow and initiate planogram type merchandise directives.

·         Must be qualified to work in the United States.

 

Desired Qualifications:

·         College level coursework relative to business management preferred.

·         High School Graduate.

·         General computer/systems knowledge to include e-mail, basic work, and register/cashiering experience.

·         Ability to multi-task.
