Some responsibilities include:
Monitor store sales performance on a daily basis. Identify problems and solve them effectively.
Work daily with manager to establish initiatives and business plans for the store and to resolve store issues.
Work with outside sales representatives in the identification, development, and maintenance of new and existing accounts.
Identify new customers and revenue opportunities for store, and implement strategies and initiatives to take advantage of those opportunities.
Build a store team that consistently delivers high levels of customer service and business results.
Insure that proper processes and procedures are utilized to minimize inventory shrinkage.
Create a safe work environment.
Plan and assign employee work schedules on a daily/weekly basis.
Ensure overall cleanliness of the store, stock room and outside areas.
Job Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school, and/or college degree a plus.
· ASE Parts Certification strongly preferred.
· Prefer experience in an automotive parts department, dealership, or retail establishment. Experience in heavy duty parts and service, or paint is also a plus.
· Possess a strong character and always deal fairly with both employees and customers.
· Possess personal drive, self-motivation and initiative to accomplish business goals.
· Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced setting.
· Possess understanding of inventory controls, stocking levels, end seasonal inventory shifts is a plus.
· Possess strong customer relationship management skills
