STORE MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW

We are searching for an outgoing, experienced Store Manager to operate our gift shop.

Hours of Employment:  MONDAY-THURSDAY  8:30 a.m. 4:30 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 3 years of retail experience.

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Work at least one weekend day per month.

Outgoing personality to develop a good relationship with the hospital contact

Able to bend and lift up to 30 lbs for housekeeping and stocking duties

Capable of standing for up to 8 hours during work shift

Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detail

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Drive sales and motivate Sales Team to a high-level of awareness of sales objectives and desire to meet those objectives.  Implement store sales incentives and participate in contests.

Develop a positive working relationship with the hospital contact.

Become familiar and knowledgeable of products and services provided in the shop.

Adhere to Corporate Loss Prevention objectives and comply with all department directives, including maintaining acceptable shrink levels, and handling assets responsibly.

Manage store payroll budget and overtime within guidelines; complete store schedule two weeks in advance and post for Sales Team.  Insure the store is always open during scheduled hours of operation.

Manage hiring, disciplinary process, and employee development.  Hold quarterly employee meetings.

Teach and model Customer F.I.R.S.T. guidelines.

 

Utilize and troubleshoot the POS computer system.
