Store Manager
- Must daily meet and exceed personal selling goals and metrics; ensures each staff member daily meets/exceeds their selling goals and metrics.
- Make performance recommendations and give input regarding sales staff to the District Managers.
- Assign employees to specific duties.
- Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, and/or in providing excellent customer service to our customers.
- Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Train staff in all aspects of company policies, procedures and selling techniques.
- Analyze and respond to sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Prepare work schedules and ensure proper store coverage that will provide excellent customer service and maximize store profits.
- Direct and coordinate activities of sales staff involving sales of swimwear apparel and related products.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
- Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions.
- Enforce safety, health, and security rules.
- Examine products purchased for resale or received for storage to assess the condition of each product or item.
- Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise.
- Open or close the store; oversee the daily operation of the business.
- Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips and gift cards, balancing cash drawers, overseeing merchandise promotions and making deposits.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor sales, promotions and products.
- Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
- Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
- Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
- Facilitate, attend and participate in staff and store meetings.
- Adherence to the company’s dress code.
- Must work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Provide customers and co-workers with a safe, neat and clean shopping and work experience by maintaining good housekeeping principles.

Overview:
Supports the Store Management team, in the achievement of the store’s goals, by providing a positive shopping experience to our customers, through the effective execution of the selling and service culture of Everything But Water
Core Accountabilities:
Revenue Generation:
· Achieve/Exceed personal sales goals and performance metrics while working as a team member to contribute to the overall stores total revenue goals.
· Achieve company UPT, ADS and HPR standards.
· Service every client using the Five Non-Negotiable Sales Standards.
· Develop product knowledge and awareness of competitors’ products.
· Project a professional image.
· Complete projects as assigned.
· Contribute to store organization and housekeeping.
Establishing the Stores Selling and Service Culture:
- Provide a world class shopping experience by connecting with your customers through meeting and anticipating their needs.
Operational Excellence:
- Support the store management team in the achievement of all financial and operational objectives with regards to expense control and loss prevention standards.
- Maintain the appearance of the selling floor; restock and merchandise according to Everything But Water standards and company directives.
Product and Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with company brand strategies.
- Partner with management team on the implementation of monthly visual directives.
