At Christopher  Banks our Shop Keepers are responsible for providing the highest level of customer CARE and ensuring that our Friends have an excellent experience. Shop Keepers are responsible for driving business to achieve store goals and ensuring a fair and positive work environment, as well as providing and ensuring all Friends receive excellent CARE service.  They have complete responsibility for all store functions, which include store operations, personnel, merchandising, marketing programs, and visual presentation.

Required Qualifications: 
• High School diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of women’s fashion, visual presentation or merchandising
• 3+ years retail management experience and/or proven success as a Personal Shopper with Christopher Banks
• Proven track record of growth in retail sales or related sales field
• Excellent knowledge of retail selling skills and strong sales ability
• Experience in recruiting and leading a sales team
• Skilled and knowledgeable in performance management procedures
• Some knowledge and computer experience is required
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the business

 Physical requirements:
• Ability to work 44 hours per week including varied hours/days to oversee store operations
• Ability to stand for entire length of shift
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and use equipment such as hammers, ladders, merchandising hardware, two- wheelers, etc.

Travel and special schedule requirements:
• Limited travel as required by business needs
• Weekends, evenings, most holidays and peak business times such as company driven events required
