Are you able to work autonomously, be open to new ideas and processes, have a flexible and positive attitude, and at the same time capable to work unsupervised in a team environment?
A vacancy exists for a Storeperson on an ongoing basis. Applicants must have Stores or Supply Chain experience and an understanding of Procurement fundamentals. Additionally, applicants should hold a forklift licence, be computer literate, hold a current driver's licence and be physically capable to perform duties required of a Storeperson. Some of which include:
- Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices/delivery dockets
- Data entry as required in relation to stock movements, receipting of stock, etc
- Ensuring the store is maintained in a clean and safe working environment
- Working within, and assisting to define industry best practice SOP's
In addition to the duties specified above, you will also be expected to continually strive to improve store operations and processes, contribute to organisational projects, within the Risk, Procurement and Technology Services Team and provide a high level of customer service, delivery and accuracy.
