Job Summary
To provide financial analysis, forecasting and control of all, non store payroll, store expenses for TK Maxx UK and Ire and Homesense.
Key Responsibilities
- Gift Cards - maintain the reporting and control of the pan European Gift cards programme. Works closely with Marketing and Business Development to ensure costs are understood and highlighted appropriately
- New Store and Expansions Models - Model revised forecasts and budget entry into TM1 and Oracle, according to the timing of new store openings.
- Undertake regular analysis of monthly actuals vs. budget on key cost lines.
- Maintain and issue monthly and quarterly red/green reporting to Store Management teams.
- Work closely with the Financial Accounts team to develop Store P L reporting - Ensure the relevance of the report and be the main contact for Store Management query resolution.
- Develop Store Ops and LP Direct G A costs reporting and analysis for Central and Regional management teams. Provide enhanced focus and understanding of Travel costs.
- Maintain close links with Procurement initiatives to evaluate and measure their impact on store expenses.
- Utilities Focus - Tariff and consumption analysis. Work with relevant teams to ensure understanding and control of costs.
- Close liaison with Financial accounts regarding fixed costs. R,T,C, Deprn and Insurance.
- Generate the monthly Supplies budgets for stores and liaise with Bunzl to develop improved analysis and control of monthly store spend.
- Prepare / understand forecasts and Budgets for all non payroll expense lines and ensure their accurate entry into TM1 in line with Rolling Plan and budget timetables.

Key Skills, Knowledge Experience
- Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills
- Experience of working with TM1 or similar data systems.
- Experience within an operations/finance department of a multi-site retail
operation would essential - Part qualified Accountant, willing to progress to qualification would be a advantage
