Strategic Account Coordinator
Responsibility: This role is responsible to partner with the account manager and act as the internal liaison between sales and all teams with responsibilities related to a global or strategic opportunity. This includes project coordination which can include reviewing bills of materials, managing creation of SPAs, monitoring global pricing, tracking shipments, and ensure timely KPM reporting. The SAC works closely with the Strategic Account Managers to initiate, develop, and facilitate relevant activities and create an integrated, client-focused account team by acting as the central point of contact and communication liaison. Specific Duties: Coordinates and establishes update calls for the virtual account team. Outlines the client objectives, deadlines, deliverables and acts as the project manager to coordinate all aspects. This includes the coordination with the manufacturing divisions to ensure availability, the supply chain management organization to ensure timely delivery, as well as the distributors to coordinate inventory and turns to support the delivery times. This also includes determining the channels used in the various locations, as well as contractors. Support National Buying Group Coordinates the pricing and part numbers based on availability. Manage creation of new SPA?s and monitor global pricing strategy to insure consistent discount levels. Obtain SPA additions and insure pricing follows the accounts global strategy for discounts. Responds to inquiries from the proposal team. May help craft presentations and charts for the customer presentation. Assist account managers with customer visits to WHQ and the EBC. Reporting of Sales Data, SPA copies SPA information. Monthly upload of SPA?s for KPM data. Support SAM KPM Process. Initiates process improvement ideas. Does independent analysis on sales and opportunities using business objects and CRM to provide the SAM with insight into buying trends and pipeline gaps. Skills, Training, Experience Required: Associates degree, business degree preferred Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish Develops new and unique ideas.
