Airgas is the largest U.S. distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding, safety and related products. Airgas has an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager in Chicago, IL.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record to actively pursue and acquire, on an on-going basis, new and competitive accounts as well as expand our existing customer based with all product lines. Our Strategic Account Manager will develop proposals, presentations and pricing agreements for strategic accounts; stay abreast of current market trends via specific training programs relating to supply chain management trends; serve as the liaison between our customer and Airgas' internal operations; analyze existing regional company customer database; identify potential within that database; and develop strategies for acquiring/enhancing this business; and will be responsible for monitoring and reporting existing strategic account activity within the regional company

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree from a four-year college/ university, preferably MBA in business or marketing or at least 10 years of related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
