Strategic Account Manager for Global Healthcare Benefit Management Programs

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, engaging and acquiring target accounts for the IndUShealth Global Healthcare Option benefit, and to assist corporate benefit managers in each new account deploy effective employee incentive programs.
The Strategic Account Manager will work with the senior management team to create a plan of new account development and program deployment, and shall require strong communication and customer relation skills, including creating C-level buy-in for out-of-box solutions and setting expectations for successful, lasting partnerships that result in business growth and market dominance. Innovation with social media strategies are highly desired.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Strategic Account Manager shall:
- Evaluate current business processes and provides recommendation for enhancements that generate added revenue
- Establish account development influences, current vendor pressure points and target key decision makers within the client base
- Be responsible for follow-through to a satisfactory and timely resolution of escalated pre-sales and post-sales issues
- Produce ongoing, objective reporting to senior execs regarding opportunities and overall customer standing
- Participate in ongoing industry and product knowledge including corporate benefits, healthcare insurance, healthcare law, company service offerings and global healthcare
Education and Experience
This position requires:
- 4-year college degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of four years of experience in corporate healthcare benefit sales
- A proven record of success in sales, preferably in corporate healthcare benefits
- Knowledge of self-insured programs, TPAs
- Familiarity with global healthcare preferred, but not required
- Ongoing learning in the employee health benefit management industry
