Job Description

As the Strategic Account Manager you will be responsible for identifying and delivering complex business solutions for a high profile account base. With the primary focus of the role working with internal stakeholders to develop the solutions in depth, you will deliver growth strategies on new and existing product lines. Once solutions have been positioned and identified you will work closely with the client executive teams to deliver effectively to the customer. Reporting into the Director of Solution Sales you will have the autonomy to direct the product and service offering appropriately to meet the clients needs. With a key focus on bottom line revenue performance in addition to the top line revenue number, your ability to broker commercially astute business deals with dictate your ability to deliver consistent success.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for candidates who are able to illustrate the following;

  • Tertiary qualified in a business, marketing or commerce related field
  • Dedicated experience in facilitating conversations with large customers and senior executive stakeholders
  • Involved senior internal stakeholders in the winning new business with existing customers, leveraging those stakeholder’s relationships, networks and positional authority to deliver improved and sustainable revenue outcomes.
  • Manages Group Dynamics, Engagement and Involvement to deliver the best possible client outcomes.
  • Worked in a senior sales role in a multi-functional/multi-disciplinary organisation or in an organisation with complex products and services
  • A proven track record of delivering results on a consistent basis within the relevant market
  • A team orientated individual who is also comfortable working autonomously but who is about delivering results for the team
