Strategic Account Sales Representative

The primary job function of a Strategic Account Sales Rep (SASR) is to drive market share growth in our core Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and achieve sales goals of a specific set of solutions through the sales cycle by partnering with other specialists and leading, or advancing, the sales cycle. SASRs also participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programs as well as participating in solutions team business reviews.

 SASRs act as subject matter experts for their assigned solution set, lead program execution tasks, and gather competitive intelligence.  Additionally, periodically they participate in customer prospect events and trade shows.  This position requires the ability to refine complex procedures, ideas, or techniques and to use independent thinking in complex environments.

 Basic administrative duties will be required as needed including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems (funnel management systems, proposal building tools, customer information database, and territory planning).

 

 

Training:

 On-the-job training and classroom type training through Reynolds University.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor's degree - 4 years of college or equivalent

·         5 years experience - includes working in other positions, either at Reynolds and Reynolds or with other organizations that prepares the associate to perform the work for this position

·         Broader skills are required in an area of specialization directly related to the work performed

·         Prior experience selling and/or servicing

·         Individual must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable

·         Full understanding of all aspects of sales process (account planning, opportunity management, etc.) and the ability to negotiate and close deals related to the solutions they sell

·         Strong customer relationship skills

·         Persuasiveness and sale closing ability

·         Account management understanding and ability to execute in this area

·         Automotive industry experience is preferred
