Strategic Alliances- Relationship Management
As part of the expansion of their Global Alliances organization, my client is looking to add a Senior Relationship Manager reporting to the Global Head of Alliances based in mid-town Manhattan. The Alliance Relationship Manager will work with the Global Head of Alliances to promote the adoption of the firm’s network and related post-trade services by industry infrastructures including Central Clearing Organizations, Exchanges, Hedge Fund Administrators, Order Management Systems, Swap Execution Facilities, Technology Platforms and Retail trading platforms
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with assigned partners and identify additional areas of synergy between the partner and firm.
- Based on a strong referral network, identify and prioritize new alliance partners to connect to the firm.
- Create and execute alliance strategy for each partner and negotiate commercial relationship.
- Manage the integration of partners onto the network and act as the point of contact to liaise with internal operations in order to provide support to the partner relationship.
- Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Develop, present and implement plans for developing strategic partnerships and show traction in your assigned area - including activity breakdowns, performance milestones, resource requirements and expense budget.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidates will have at least 8-10+ years experience in sales, marketing or alliances in a financial technology oriented company.
- Knowledge of financial networks, trading systems, foreign exchange, electronic markets, and global financial markets.
- Understanding of market structure and lifecycle of FX, OTC derivatives, equities and fixed income
- Previous experience working in an indirect sales role a plus
- Existing relationships at CCPs, OMSs, Exchanges, SEFs and other service providers a plus.
- Strong self direction with the ability to work with high level guidance.
- Experience working as a team with a direct sales organization.
