Strategic Cost Manager recruitment
Investigo are seeking a top tier bank who are seeking strategic cost manager to drive the business through exciting changes.
Working with the business area CFOs and business leaders to identify (using new and existing cost insight), agree and embed short- to mid- term cost reduction initiatives and funding requirements you will deliver £200m of underlying costs reductions by 2013.
You will build, develop and enhance new data collection databases and reporting suites to provide regular (at a minimum monthly) and adhoc cost communication to ensure a consistent, accurate narrative of the Cost initiative progress is communicated within senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will deliver timely, accurate and insightful commentary and information to, including the provision of all performance tracking and monitoring, on a monthly and adhoc basis. This will require utilising a number of reporting tools (excel, powerpoint, etc) and presentational skills.
You will work with the senior Finance executives including the head of BPA to ensure that identified actions are incorporated in the short- and medium-term financial plans on a timely and accurate basis.
As an active member of the Central Finance team, leading initiatives (e.g. EOS action plans, citizenship activity co-ordination) you will improve and enhance the colleague experience
