Strategic Financial Planning Manager recruitment
Our client, a leading independent clearing house group, currently seeks a Strategic Financial Planning Manager, to be based in London
The Strategic Financial Planning Manager will be part of the Accounting Finance team, and will be responsible for:
-Maintaining the Group's Medium Term Financial Plan, taking responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the underlying models that comprise the Plan.
-Working with the Director, Financial Planning Technology, to formulate underlying assumptions, gather data, and develop and maintain models.
-Supporting the annual budgeting process by working with other lead stakeholders within and outside Finance to ensure an integrated budgeted and planning process is in place across the Group.
-Working with business unit controllers to advise on the impact of changes to business plans including tariffs, volumes, costs and investments.
-Assisting with Corporate Finance activity - including restructuring and MA activity, where appropriate.
As such, the successful Strategic Financial Planning Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Educated to degree level
-Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent.
-Background in Financial Services.
-Financial planning experience - budgets / medium term plans / corporate valuation / discounted cashflows
-Demonstrable capability of understanding and relating business drivers to financial models
Experience of using Hyperion Essbase and Excel add-in; or Excel with a multi-dimensional reporting systems
