Our client is a major bank with impressive and consistently strong performance. It is looking to recruit a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager, Strategic Investment Cost Analytics.
The cost and investments finance team manages the entire cost base for the corporate banking and financial markets businesses. The investments team in particular manages hundreds of millions in annual investments. This includes deciding the investment budget in line with the business overall strategic priorities, reviewing business cases for large projects, tracking investment utilization/ reporting and performing analytics on the investment portfolio for senior management. You will perform investment business case analysis through analyzing financials, ensuring alignment with business strategy and testing project plan. You will drive special initiatives to improve investment utilization, benefits realization and investment portfolio tracking. You will perform analysis of current investments portfolio and prepare presentations for CFO and business management group. You will interact with senior business management and project managers to understand strategic rationale for investments and expected investment forecast for the year. You will assist various businesses/ function stakeholders with investment related queries/ approvals.
Degree qualified in business/ economics/ finance, you will have at least 10 years of experience including few years in managing sizeable cost base. Exposure to management consulting, business/ strategy functions or new product development within banking is preferred but not a must. You are driven and effective in managing process and senior stakeholders.
