Strategic Marketing Analyst recruitment

Overview:
This role is particularly directed to quantitative, technology oriented, creative and self motivated graduate looking to impact positively the bottom line of the Trading division. The candidate will be working with the Business Development team part of the Trading Strategy group. We are identifying, sizing and prioritizing the opportunity for the business to grow. Typical projects are managed by 2 members of the team who collaborate on a daily basis with senior management (Trading Leadership team), business heads, finance, commercial and product managers. Our team can be compared to an internal consulting team. The projects vary during the year depending on the business opportunities and market opportunities for this $3.5B business segment.

Daily tasks include: gathering and analyzing data from diverse databases across the organization and generating insight to tune the strategic direction of the business, interacting with sales, thinking out of the box to find creative solution, collaborating and sharing with the team and able to jump at any time to help on other priorities the team may have. This insight will be framed in a story and presented in Power Point

Responsibilities:
• Lead research and develop insights, both quantitative and qualitative
• Package the insights in charts / reports / presentations and other outputs to communicate findings
• Provide recommendations based on findings / insights to middle or senior management
• Partner with the Heads of the businesses, sales and other stakeholders to develop segment specific strategies and recommendations
• Support the Strategic Marketing team to deliver against all other requirements

Required Skills:
• Exceptional analytical skills, with knowledge of statistical analysis. Accounting / PL experience optional
• Excel / Access / PowerPoint experience required. SQL experience preferred
• Project management experience required
• Exceptional written communication skills required. Similar verbal skills preferred
