Strategic Marketing Lead recruitment
The Strategic Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing and driving marketing plans and initiatives supporting the growth of specific business lines, revenue opportunities, and products/services (reporting to the Global Head of Marketing). The Strategic Marketing Lead will also be the ‘go-to’ person for digital/web marketing analysis and best practices, as well as marketing-related data and research.

- build a strong internal and external network of contacts
- be a key contributor to, and facilitator of, the team’s brainstorming/creative processes
- represent the team as required
- be a brand ambassador, both internally and externally
Responsibilities
- Work with business unit leads to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that address challenges and/or capitalize on opportunities to drive revenue/growth.
- Manage the marketing planning process—and be the day-to-day marketing contact—for specific business units and/or product service lines.
- Liaise with Finance, Data, Product, and Corporate Strategy teams to be the Marketing’s team’s customer and competitor data and research guru, reporting to the team and organization as required.
- Lead the team’s digital engagement monitoring, reporting on web and email engagement statistics, advising on digital best practices, and making recommendations for improved engagement.
- Lead creative and idea brainstorming sessions for the brand, for the broader team’s goals, or for specific campaign ideas.
- Manage and track budgets for campaigns and initiatives against success metrics.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest in digital marketing, marketing measurement, research, and the broader industry.
- Manage suppliers and agencies as required.
Experience
- Master’s degree or higher highly regarded.
- 7 – 10 years’ marketing and communications experience—B2B preferred.
- Global experience and/or language-other-than-English skills highly regarded.
- Trading, Finance, Equity Capital, and/or PE/VC industry experience highly regarded.
Skills
- Strategic thinker and analytically minded.
- Demonstrated track record developing and executing effective and creative marketing plans—B2B preferred.
- Technological prowess (an ‘early adopter’ of technology), including proficiency across the MS Office Suite, knowledge of web/mobile technologies (content management system and HTML coding knowledge desirable but not essential), and both PC/Mac proficiency.
- High proficiency in web and digital usage/engagement statistics, monitoring, and trends.
- Resourceful.
- Strong written and oral communication skills a must.
- Leadership skills, ambition, and an entrepreneurial approach to work highly regarded.
- Creative and ‘fresh’ thinking highly regarded.
- Ability to travel, as required.
