Strategic Marketing – VP recruitment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Top Asset Management firm seeks a Marketing professional with 5-15 years of exp.

•Builds awareness for the sales team through the execution of marketing plans as well as assisting with strategy development.

•Actively seeks to drive business results by creatively identifying opportunities to strengthen our arsenal of products and sales tools.

•Takes responsibility for creating and continuously improving foundation, channel and product-specific marketing literature

•Takes decisive action to reconcile feedback and advance the development process

•Provides marketing input and creates content for website

•Liaises with product teams to help articulate unique selling propositions

•Liaises with different internal groups, of all levels, including sales/marketing, client service, management, compliance, performance, desktop and graphics

•Liaises with external design vendors where projects are outsourced

•Liaises with regional marketing communication and other professionals on global projects

•Executes independent projects to enhance department efficiency

•Performs other functions or projects

Skills/experience:

•Minimum of 10 years in a similar role within a leading player in the US Third Party market

•In-depth knowledge of the asset management marketplace, products, clients, regulations, competitors

•Strong marketing skills in both strategy and execution

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

•Direct experience in a similar role within an asset management company

•Product knowledge, having worked in product management or another area which brings strong product, asset management and mutual fund experience

•Self motivating and driven, someone looking for a steep growth curve

•Strong leadership skills

Able to assimilate new experience and learning very quickly

•Attention to detail and accuracy

•Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story

•Demonstrable track record of working effectively with several teams: sales teams, product managers, legal, compliance, client service, etc.

•Strong analytical skills and ability to compare products, markets, clients.

•Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
