Position Summary The Marketing Manager, Strategic Planning for Value Added Services is responsible for optimizing the communication of our entire portfolio of products, applications, and services across a series of different consumer targets, maximizing revenue, reducing churn, and driving long-term engagement (re: tenure) with customers. Plans, creates and executes marketing campaigns and communications to implement strategies, objectives, and tactics across each Marketing Window. Directs the development of in-store fixtures and retail collateral, videos, and web marketing materials associated with product launches. Helps manage PR campaign support and launch communications across the VAS organization. Assists Senior Manager with Strategic Planning activities including portfolio planning and roadmap development, competitive analysis, development of marketing program briefs, and primary/secondary market research to support product team needs. Role involves engagement with product teams across VAS businesses, cross functional partners (legal, product realization, creative services, market research, etc), and executive team members. Marketing Manager would support product teams across all VAS areas including: · Value Added Services: Applications, Content and Games(including mobile advertising/media management and cloud services); Communication Services (including NameID, voicemail to text, international messaging, video calling and the new Bobsled IP offerings); and On-Device Marketing; Web Data Plans (including search). · Mobile Broadband and Emerging Devices: Tablets, Mobile HotSpots, Data Sticks · Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and Machine to Machine Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Partners with Calendar Marketing, creative merchandising and web marketing along with the agencies on creation of world-class collateral, videos, and marketing campaigns to develop best value propositions and overall marketing campaigns. Would create marketing program briefs, incorporating sales training into our product launch process, and influence the strategic direction of campaigns. The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the enterprise; specifically with sales, product management, legal and creative services leadership to ensure flawless execution and to create one look and feel for T-Mobile products and services. · Works in tandem with VAS Product Team and PR Team to develop launch communications, PR support, and some social media support for VAS applications, services, and MBB devices. · Assists Senior Manager in evangelizing the Value Added Services story across internal and external teams through the development of presentations and channel communications. · Works in tandem with Senior Manager on strategic planning tasks including annual business planning, roadmap development, market research planning, and competitive analysis. · Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
