This is a newly created position and its main purpose is to develop and identify creative pricing solutions and programs for the Security Solutions division across the European region.

Today the company is looking for a Strategic Pricing Leader to reinforce the Sales Marketing department in Diegem. This is a newly created position and its main purpose is to develop and identify creative pricing solutions and programs for the Security Solutions division across the European region.

The Strategic Pricing Leader will report directly to the Vice President Sales Marketing of the company’s European Security division, as well as to the Vice President of the Global Centre of Excellence in Pricing. It is a newly created position after a merge and integration. Our candidate will be responsible for the implementation of new pricing strategies and programmes across Europe (14 countries specifically).

This person will travel frequently across Europe and identify innovative and value based pricing solutions and programs. The position holder will drive the pricing solutions and programs in each country together with the Country Manager and his/her team.

Major responsibilities:

• Work closely with the functions in the business unit and in the country organizations, primarily, theVice President Marketing Sales, CFO, Commercial Finance, Country Pricing Leaders, Country Finance and Sales Marketing organizations as well as the Global Centre of Excellence in Pricing to identify and provide innovative pricing solutions and programs that will help the client to drive incremental revenue growth improved profitability

• Develop pricing strategy and drive margin/revenue improvement

• Develop sophisticated finance models and analytics that provide business insight for decision making

• Liaison between the Business and IT teams to:

-          Structure and leverage data with insight into three main areas; internal sales and margin data, customer behaviour (point of sales), and market intelligence

-          Formulate and implement sophisticated Business Analytics

-          Utilize the analytics to identify opportunities with focus on sales growth and margin improvement

-          Develop and assist with operational solutions for business analytics

• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout project lifecycle

Essential skills:

• Individual must be a results driven self-starter focused on providing value to the business

• Proven track record in successfully identifying and implementing analytical solutions. Experience in multiple channel businesses including retail/customer and industrial channels a plus.

• Superior project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors, ability to analyse projects needs and determinate resources needed to meet objectives

• Strong analysis, design, and implementation skills to solve complex business problems with pragmatic solutions, Ability to drill down to the root cause of recurring issues

• Advances Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Access skills

• Strong interpersonal skills – Ability to work with peers and management teams at all levels of the organization

• Must have strong communication skills – must communicate well with functional leaders to understand improvement opportunities and partner with various disciplines in support of creating a more controlled and efficient work environment

Preferred skills:

• Hands on experience in business functional role, preferably sales and marketing, pricing, six sigma, finance and/or commercial finance

• Experience in developing statistical analytics that drive business projects focused on sales growth and margin improvement

• Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt preferred) or similar certification

• Six Sigma / Kaizen Continuous improvement experience a plus

• Microsoft Access, Business Objects, or related platform experience a plus

• Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus

• MBA a plus

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with a minimum of 2 years in a related functional role

• Advanced Analytical experience with Excel

• Experience working with Microsoft Access

• Knowledge of Project Management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economic or Marketing

• MBA preferred
