A leading Global Investment Bank are looking for an experienced compliance professional to join their regulatory developments team. The level of regulatory change across the financial services industry and the focus of regulators on the reviewing reforms, implementing changes and evidencing controls continue to increase across EMEA. The Bank is a global institution and rated as one of the best in the market. They are firm believers in organic growth and offer very good development opportunities with exposure to very senior stakeholders.

The role:

In response to this Compliance are setting up a new unit to establish a regulatory reform and change management programme. The candidate will head the unit, a Director level appointment, will be required to develop the unit and embed a robust control framework for regulatory developments.

- Establishing a process to identify, track and process changes to regulations, laws and other rules relevant to the bank's business;
- Ensuring that business heads take responsibility for the updates
- Ensuring the business adapts to regulatory changes
- Liaising with senior members of staff and ensuring the framework is embedded

The ideal candidate will have had experience of regulatory change programmes and who have worked in a compliance or legal role, either in a bank or as an advisor in private practice. Candidates could come from a regulatory developments background, Big four consultancy or change management.
