Position Description:
The Client Reporting Manager will:
•Work with Client Facing and Marketing Communications leadership to develop and implement a strategic, comprehensive reporting blueprint to support achievement of the firm's business objectives, globally, as well as support the global efforts of the Marketing Communications function at PIMCO. Target audiences include (in order of importance) Institutional Investors (Funds and Separate Accounts); Consultants, Advisors, Retail Investors, Prospects, and Media.
•Manage existing team resources and build the optimum structure and capabilities, strategically, to develop "best in class" reporting materials.
•Deploy best practices in the management of PIMCO's reporting throughout the firm's reporting materials, closely coordinated with PIMCO's global Marketing Communications efforts, Client Facing and Business Management.
•Coordinate alignment with the PIMCO brand. This will entail close coordination with PIMCO's global Marketing Communications leadership.

Primary Areas of Focus: Strategic Thinking and Management of PIMCO's Client Reporting
Core to this role will be the development and implementation of a strategic reporting. This will involve close coordination with senior leadership, all Client Facing channels, country teams and Technology, as well as liaising with key vendors to produce timely, client-friendly reports.

Primary Areas of Focus: Team Management
The position will carry responsibility for oversight of the firm's Client Reporting team producing a wide range of core reports used in client servicing.

Position Requirements:
•Proven track record developing "best-in-class" reporting content
•Leadership skills necessary to achieve best-in-class results from a high caliber team
•Demonstrated success in team leadership with the ability to be both player and coach
•Proven track record thinking, developing and managing strategically, with examples of demonstrable business results, including development and communication of key metrics
•Experience with new media and capabilities - digital, video, audio, other file formats with ability to analyze competitor reporting
•Working with clients to ensure quality of reporting solutions through agreed upon strategic direction and standard
•Excellent interpersonal skills; Work well in a team environment, and have the ability to interact effectively with leadership and staff at both the regional and global level
•Well organized, high energy/self-starter with the ability to work independently within the firm's demanding and highly focused environment
•Understanding of basic design and layout
•Clear commitment to PIMCO's culture, values and approach
•Strong oral and written communications skills
•Demonstrated understanding of business and macro-economic trends

Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in financial services industry, and at least 3-4 years' exposure to the investment management industry. Knowledge of the mutual fund industry and the asset management landscape will be an advantage, as would working knowledge of new media, Business Objects, Oracle and other basic software.
