Strategic Sourcer – HR & Professional Services recruitment
This position is residing in the Supply Demand Management organization (SDM), which directs and controls all supply management activities (covering all 3rd party external spend categories) as a shared service and global competence center for the entire bank. Within SDM, a global team addresses all professional services and HR costs.
Responsibilities
In this role you will expected to develop an understanding and perform analysis of relevant supply markets, cost drivers and suppliers within the HR and Professional Services category area, with a particular emphasis on Management Consultancy, Training and Recruitment;
- Management Consultancy responsibilities would focus mainly on our Tier 3 suppliers – high volume non strategic relationships, which none the less important – providing support on Top 10 when required or support with the drafting of Letter of Engagements
- Training Responsibilities would focus on supporting the Business University and internal clients towards a self service model, supporting large projects through experience of external training market in order to advise on alternative solutions.
You will also support and contribute to the development of a Sourcing Category strategy for HR Professional Services; Assist with planning and execution of professional services initiatives (e.g. enhance the control of the source-to-pay process); Negotiate consulting mandates, training statement of works and recruitment contracts within given time frames and budget requirements.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to foster Business Partner Relationship Management across all levels, including at Executive Level and develop a strong Supplier Relationship Management with assigned vendors.
Requirements
- Professional track record and experience working in a similar area of responsibility within strategic sourcing of HR and Professional Services
- An understanding of the international and domestic supply market in the relevant category areas, and experience in management of supplier relationships based on market knowledge
- Proven track record of managing the complexities related to the supplier base, both internal and external.
- Ability to assess and understand the different challenges in the various supply markets and how to drive and implement change wherever required; good understanding and experience in providing contribution to optimizing organizational structures and business processes, including implementation of global sourcing best practices
- Consulting orientation combined with the determination to achieve the highest levels of quality standards; this includes good insight into the practical day-to-day issues of supply management
- Experience in global (cross divisions and regions) strategic sourcing in the Financial Services Industry
