Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect / IT

Fortune 500 leader seeks an accomplished Purchasing Pro with a strong background in Indirect and non-production areas of a multi-site global organization. This position will pay a base of up to 100K plus bonus and excellent benefit package.
Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT/ Indirect, you will work with the various subsidiaries of the company and numerous facilities on a global basis. You will be in charge of several of these following key areas: Information Technology, IT Services, Human Resources, Benefits, Outside Services, Capital Expenditures, MRO, Technical and administrative items.
Requirements include:
A minimum of 5-7 years in Purchasing / Sourcing with significant experience in the IT/ Indirect / non-production area. We prefer 2-3+ years of management experience and must have similar experience from a large company / multi-site, manufacturing or services firm.
You must have a track record of proven success in cost reduction and productivity improvement using innovative approaches to Supply Chain Management.
Experience in E-Commerce, E-Auctions, E-Sourcing is required. We prefer a candidate who has been managing a total spend of $50M+ in Information Technology and/ or Indirect spend with a major company.
Excellent knowledge of systems, such as SAP, ERP, MRP, JD Edwards is critical. Six Sigma background and experience in Lean Manufacturing is also highly desired.
