Strategic Sourcing Specialist Job in San Francisco, California US

An Immediate opening for a Sr. Sourcing Partner with subject matter expertise in the Professional Services, Financial Services, IT Services and Software commodities; the position to be based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
• Create solid business relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
• Organize and lead business reviews with suppliers.
• Serve as commodity expert for assigned commodities.
• Conduct and manage request-for-proposal process.
• Negotiate pricing and other business terms with suppliers, conduct industry bench-marking of pricing, and make recommendations on programs to reduce supplier costs.
• Support internal customers by facilitating accurate and favorable transactions, and on-going supplier management and accountability.
• Assist as necessary with projects to improve and streamline the Procurement department’s processes.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree from reputable 4-year university or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of direct experience in procuring and managing IT Services, Software, Benefits, Financial Services and Corporate Services spend.
• Strong experience supporting our IT, Human Resources, and Facilities
• Experience within or working with top-tier companies.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
