Our client, a leader in the electronics industry, based in Cork, requires a Strategic Supply Chain Manager.
This exciting career opportunity would suit a degree qualified (Business/Science/Engineering) person who has extensive Supply Chain Management experience gained in the Electronics/Aerospace industry.
Responsible for the negotiations with supplier contracts through the identification and deployment of leverage, whilst monitoring market conditions to improve purchasing effectiveness.
Manage the Make or Buy decision process.
Minimise risk of supplier and market related trends through market analyses of risks.
Willingness to travel to US, Europe Asia circa 20% essential.
