Based in Sydney, our client is a dynamic business with an enviable record of attracting and retaining the best people in the market. Due to internal promotion, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented CA to join this high profile banking group.
Leading a team of analysts and working closely senior business leadership, your focus will be to ensure that the leadership team is well equipped to make good investment decisions. The major responsibilities of the team are:
• Gain in-depth understanding of the business to enable the provision of high quality analytical and strategic support to key customers including CFO and executive team.
• Build and maintain relationships with business segment leaders, product decision support and strategy team.
• Awareness of strategy team watch-lists and leadership team priorities to assist in building pipeline of transactions and projects.
• Ability to challenge the commercial accuracy and robustness of strategic project key business drivers.
• Support in production of executive packs including positioning of issues / results, and recommendation to the leadership team in regards to strategic project priorities.
• Support with competitor / peer reviews, highlighting key opportunities and threats in the market.
As a qualified CA or CFA with a background in corporate finance, MA or equity research, you have developed superior financial modeling, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills together with the commercial acumen to offer genuine insights. You must have excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships with senior executives.
