No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description This opening is for a Senior Analyst within the Enterprise Risk Integration Center (ERIC) team. ERIC is an organization within the Supplier Management function and supports the 4 Business Units (BCA, BDS, EOT, SSG) of The Boeing Company. ERIC monitors, identifies, analyzes, aggregates, quantifies and communicates Supply Chain Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) from/to the Boeing Enterprise and from external sources. The ERIC Analyst supports senior SM decision makers across the enterprise by performing research and analysis on a myriad of supply chain challenges and opportunities (e.g.: operational, financial, strategic and business continuity) Develops and leads analysis of aerospace industry supply chain for risk analysis and communicates/presents results to key stakeholders. Prioritizes results and prepares reports that explain risk changes over time by interpreting and reconciling Boeing business data and events with analytical model results. Where appropriate, proposes mitigation recommendations for major concerns consistent with risk rankings and trends. Tracks, prioritizes and communicates mitigation actions/impacts of identified risks. Identifies required data elements and ensures they are available and assembled for input to analysis models. Develops risk metrics and prioritizes risk concerns. Develops playbooks, checklists and other tools to effectively manage risks and recurring events. Prepares executive type presentations as well as summaries and reports. ERIC is seeking an experienced analyst to lead and/or perform risk identification, supply chain analysis and strategy-related studies within a customer-focused environment where tasks can vary on a daily basis. Primary responsibilities include collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data, summarizing the findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the Business Unit and Enterprise level and from suitable external industry sources while assuring that information provided are consistent with organizational objectives. Successful candidate will frequently communicate to and coordinate/ collaborate with key stakeholders and other personnel across the Enterprise. Successful candidates would most likely have significant broad business analysis experience spanning the Aerospace industry, Supply Chain and Supplier Management, Production/Operations, Finance, MA, or other related experience. This experience can be internal or from outside of Boeing (including competitors). Strong candidates would be highly conversant in technology trends, government initiatives, key industry players in numerous areas of interest to Boeing. Successful candidates are likely to be strong communicators, highly flexible and adaptable, not concerned about seniority in terms of team roles but able to mentor and develop staff members, as well as being able to bring new sources and methods to the broader team. Ability to work in small groups in a virtual environment and to operate when necessary and somewhat unstructured environment with shifting timelines and pressures is essential. Strong presentation skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage in fact-based communication and/or discussion with very senior management in a professional manner are essential.
