Strategy Consulting – Associate Partner
Opportunity to join a global strategy consulting company, based in the London office. This role will act as “second in command” to the partner who runs European Insurance Practice.
You will take responsibility for managing much of the group’s day to day and strategic operations from managing key client relationships, taking ownership of major projects / deliverables, managing internal team of resources, setting strategic direction for the business and business development. The opportunity for this job to develop to Partner-level is clearly defined and the management team are expecting to interview applicants who are ambitious to become partner.
The insurance practice is naturally part of the wider financial services group, which has a range of capabilities covering (but not limited to): Operational efficiency, growth strategy, restructuring, risk management, technology, corporate strategy, program management.
Requirements:
It is expected that you can demonstrate a track record of success in a business strategy on consulting environment – either within an insurance company, or for a consulting firm with a focus on the insurance (or re-insurance) sector. Specific skills and experience:
- ability to manage and develop key client relationships – excellent stakeholder / cxO management skills
- being member of the financial services management group
-author thought leadership / white papers
-ability to manage, direct, deploy and develop a highly skilled group of (analyst, associate, director level) consultants
-Excellent knowledge and appreciation of the Insurance or Re-Insurance sector
-responsibility for defining projects scope and leading delivery of all aspects of projects delivery plan
-continuing to develop and promote - through direct line management and other mechanisms - a collaborative environment and culture of excellence focused on client deliverables.
-proven record of developing innovative and successful business solutions for clients.
