Right now, due to its continued business growth, AMMA has an exciting part time opportunity for a Strategy Development Advisor to be part of its highly regarded Media, Public Affairs and Member Services Division.
Role
In this role you will be responsible for creating business development strategies, with particular focus on training and development, as well as promoting AMMA's services and solutions portfolio to members to increase participation and to retain and increase membership.
Reporting to the Strategy Development Manager, your role will involve working with our team of communications and membership specialists to provide guidance and support to the organisation as well as our suppliers and partners in a number of areas including:
- Idea generation and strategy development
- Analyse customer training needs and offer solutions
- Develop / execute action plans to maximise opportunities with existing members
- Participate in development of strategies to increase member base
- Promote the Association, its services and benefits to current, potential and new members
Candidate
AMMA is seeking an experienced business development professional, preferably with a training and development and/or solutions sales background with a minimum of four years or more career experience.
The ideal candidate will have well developed people management experience, strategic planning skills and an ability to deal with senior stakeholders coupled with an ability to influence and negotiate with a proactive and driven outlook.
A confident, energetic professional, you will also possess demonstrable experience building key client relationships and developing and executing business development initiatives with ease. You will have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and ideally an understanding of the resources industry..
